MAHALO Noelani!Your donations and volunteer hours have made the 2019 Craft Fair our most successful in years. We made almost $45,000 this year. Our children and teachers will greatly benefit from these efforts. In addition to added funding for student programs and teacher wish lists this year, we will be purchasing a new Matson storage container. The container will replace the stage as the PTA central storage location allowing the children to have the space back for its’ original intent! J As my son Wyatt is graduating this year, I am now officially the outgoing Craft Fair Committee Chair. It has be a challenging and fun 3 years. I had no prior experience, wasn’t on the committee and hadn’t even attended a PTA meeting before chairing it. But just like this year, the prior Chair was graduating and rather than cancel the fundraiser, I just blindly jumped in to help out the school. Thank you for the trust you gave me to figure it out as we went along. It has been an honor and I am grateful for being a part of an amazing committee. My last ask is that someone (especially a B building parent or parents) reading this will volunteer to chair the committee next year allowing the programs/teachers it funds to continue. Who we are
Noelani Elementary Parent-Teacher Association is a non-profit organization affiliated with the Hawaii PTA and National PTA organizations. The Noelani PTA involves students, parents and teachers in programs and projects throughout the school year to support Noelani’s school culture and enhance the education of Noelani students. It helps create a sense of community through activities such as teacher appreciation week, printing school t-shirts, and organizing fun events that create memories for students and parents such as the Craft Fair, Jog-a-Thon, May Fair and Movie Night. |
