Noelani Virtual Halloween Contest!Noelani Ohana,
Due to COVID restrictions, Trunk or Treat has been temporarily laid to rest. Fear not Halloween fanatics, we have conjured up a spooky solution. We are excited to invite you to participate Noelani's first Halloween Virtual Contest. The Hawaii State PTSA is pleased to announce our first ever
Virtual Pumpkin Decorating Contest! This year, we invite you to enter your favorite pumpkin to us for a virtual contest. Each winner will receive a $20 gift card. For more details, please click here. (Note, this is a separate, state-wide contest hosted by the Hawaii PTSA. Noelani PTA will be posting details on their own Virtual Halloween Contest shortly!) What is advocacy?
In the context of PTA, advocacy is supporting & speaking up for children — in schools, in communities, & before government bodies & other organizations that make decisions affecting children. In response to students and their caregivers navigating through online and blending learning situations, the Hawaii Department of Education has created a technical support help desk. Providing self-service and chat support for families, the Ohana Help Desk will be able to assist with connectivity-related issues (e.g. network and wifi connectivity), access and security issues, device support (e.g. devices, applications, software updates), and general IT support. Join the Noelani PTA now! Membership in the Noelani PTA includes membership in the Hawaii State PTSA and the National PTA. Click on the images below to go to their websites. The Noelani T-Shirts can be purchased at this link below:
noelanielementarypta.itemorder.com/sale Noelani T-Shirt sales are one of our major safe, socially- distanced fundraisers as our Annual Children's Craft Fair is cancelled this year due to COVID. The school year has been removed, so this t-shirt will be used for a couple of years for field trips and events. rather than changing to a different t-shirt next year. It's a great gift for grandparents, aunties, and uncles! It's also wonderful for chaperones to wear during field trips and events! It's also a great way to show your support for your child!
