Typically held in coordination with National Teacher Appreciation Week, the PTA celebrates Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week to honor Noelani’s entire faculty and staff with lunch, treats, and small tokens of appreciation throughout the week
​to express our gratitude for all that they do to care for, nurture, and educate our children. 

This school year's Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week is scheduled for the week of May 5 - 9, 2025.

2024 Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week Information

 ​We’d like to invite all students to join us in honoring their teachers and showing them how much they are loved by participating in the daily “appreciation challenges” listed here. Look out for an email from your room parent sharing your teacher's "favorites!" 

In addition to completing the challenges for your childʻs homeroom teacher, some of the other special resource teachers and staff on campus would appreciate being thought of as well.

Here are some ideas: 
  • Share a donated book with a note for our librarian, Mrs. Graham
  • On PE day next week, wear purple or something with a dog or LA Dodgers on it to celebrate Mrs. Lum
  • Share a valuable lesson you learned from Miss Ai, our counselor, with her!
  • Write a note for the custodial staff about your favorite place on campus and how they help to keep it beautiful
  • Draw a picture of your favorite meal that the cafeteria staff makes​
